The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut
This young athlete boasts substantial online presence
Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent supporters when she begins her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and often matches against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions recently and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.
But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai expressed.
"And he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to play, relax, following the flow."
Kai will face several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically among younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
