I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
